The Advanced Courses in String Quartet, led by the Quartetto di Cremona, are aimed at string quartets and piano trios with exceptional artistic qualities who are strongly committed to pursuing a professional career.
The Stauffer Academy offers to pre-formed ensembles two training paths:
- The Annual Course that lasts one year and involves attending 8 sessions of three days each, scheduled monthly between October and July.
- The Stauffer Performance Diploma that lasts three years and involves attending 10 sessions of three days each, scheduled monthly between October and July each year. The SPD course is reserved exclusively for string quartets.
2024/25 Guest Professors: Marc Danel, Ori Kam, Günter Pichler.
It is also possible to participate through the “Ad Hoc” formula, that offers up to a maximum of two sessions with the Quartetto di Cremona during the academic year.
Tuition fees are entirely supported by the Stauffer Foundation.
