The Isang Yun Competition is held in remembrance of renowned Korean composer Isang Yun (1917-1995), with the aim of supporting emerging international soloists and promoting cultural exchange among nations.
And the Competition is held every year alternately in three categories: Violin, Cello, Piano.
This year's Violin edition will take place from November 2 to 10 in Tongyeong Concert Hall, South Korea.
It's open to violinists of all nationalities, born between November 1, 1994, and October 31, 2009.

To support the young violinists who have great potential, the Isang Yun Competition will cover the costs of round-trip airfare and accommodations fee for participants selected for the First Round. |
