Chorus soprano 1 person, mezzo-soprano 1 person, baritone 1 person, baritone 1 person; Symphony Orchestra first violin 4 people, cello deputy chief 1 person, cello 2 people, the second oboe and British wind 1 person, horn 1 person, percussion 2 people.

II. Recruitment conditions and job descriptions
(I) Vocalists
Department: Chorus
Recruitment: 1 soprano, 1 mezzo-soprano, 1 baritone and 1 bass.
Grade Sequence: Specialist Grade XII
Terms of employment:
(1) Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system, love the motherland, and abide by the law;
(2) Below 40 years old; bachelor degree or above, graduated from professional music colleges, majoring in American voice related majors;
(3) Good professional quality and code of conduct, love of performing arts, outstanding business ability, comprehensive ability; physical and mental health;
(4) Love the art of opera chorus performance, with solid music foundation, proficiency in American voice singing, especially the singing skills of opera arias and repetitions, and have a good stage image;
(5) Ability to spell Italian, French, German and other languages;
(6) The conditions can be relaxed for those who are excellent, and the winners of major national awards will be given priority.
(II) Instrumentalists
Department: Symphony Orchestra
Number of recruits: 4 first violins, 1 cello deputy principal, 2 cellos, 1 second oboe and English horn, 1 horn, 2 percussionists.

Note: The applicants for the above positions, such as foreign social personnel, must hold a Shanghai residence permit for more than one year (within the validity period), the deadline for calculation is 8 December 2024.

3、Video Submission
Vocalist: In addition to the above materials, a video of a solo performance of a foreign aria and a video of a solo performance of a Chinese art song must be submitted;
For instrumentalists: in addition to the above materials, a video of instrumental solo performance and a video of orchestra segment performance (the catalogue of orchestra segments can be found on the official website of Shanghai Opera House).

Video submission requirements:
(1) The video must reflect the real business level of the person, one shot to the end, without editing, modification and any post-processing;
② video length within 5 minutes, clear picture quality, clear sound;

(II) Qualification Review
Qualification examination will be conducted according to the received application email to review the video. After passing the examination, the theatre will notify the examination or written test by email or telephone, please keep the applicant's communication open, and those who have not been shortlisted for the examination (or written test) will not be notified again. Qualification review throughout the recruitment process.
(C) Examination Methods
1、Vocal performer positions in the form of examination is mainly business demonstration. Generally include: solo, choral excerpts, visual singing and ear training.
2, instrumental performer's examination form is mainly business demonstration. Generally include: solo, band clip.
The specific content of the examination for each of the above positions, please refer to the actual receipt of the examination notice shall prevail; each position is ultimately based on the overall results and the needs of the position of the hospital to select the best candidates.
(IV) Physical Examination
Physical examination with reference to the ‘General Physical Examination Standards for National Civil Servants (for Trial Implementation)’ will be uniformly organised to medical institutions of Grade 2A or above in the city. If any candidate gives up the recruitment or fails the physical examination, the unit has the right to decide whether to add other candidates for the recruitment and physical examination in the order of the total results.
(E) Examination
The Shanghai Opera House will organise the inspection, which mainly examines the candidates' ideological and political quality, compliance with laws and regulations, moral character and integrity records.
(F) Determination and publicity of the proposed candidates
According to the results of the examination, physical examination and inspection, the proposed candidates will be announced on the website of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security for a period of not less than 7 days. If there is no objection to the public notice, it will be reported to the higher authority, Shanghai Grand Theatre Art Centre, for approval and filing before being reported to the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security for approval and filing. If there are any objections to the public announcement, affecting the employment, the employment will be determined according to the results of the investigation.
IV. Relevant Treatment
Once employed, the salary, bonus, welfare and social insurance of the above personnel will be implemented in accordance with the relevant regulations.
