The Bamberg Symphony Orchestra Academy is a training programme that extends over a period of two years. The scholarship holders receive instrumental one-to-one tuition from members of the orchestra, take part in intensive rehearsals and concerts with the orchestra, develop chamber music works under the guidance of members of the orchestra and are supervised by mentors from the orchestra. Audition training, workshops and, where possible, participation in international concert tours round off the training. During this time, the participants receive a scholarship of €950 per month. The contract can start on 22 April 2025. Requirements for participation in the orchestra academy are: Maximum age limit: 26 years (at the time of the audition) - Study at a music academy - Passing an audition - Passing the probationary period (4 months)
