For this position, we are looking for an outstanding musician who is able to take on the role of concertmaster (m/f/d) in one of the most traditional and renowned opera and ballet orchestras in Germany.
In addition to artistic qualifications, including experience with contemporary music and historically-informed performance practice, we also expect a willingness to take on responsibility for the 1st violin section.
This includes in particular the organisation of group meetings and regular staff appraisals in consultation with the two other 1st concertmasters (m/f/d) and the orchestra management.
We expect a high level of identification with our orchestra and the Württemberg State Theatres Stuttgart.
This also includes a presence beyond the contractually agreed orchestral duties.
We offer a special contract with a reduced workload, taking into account your professional experience and qualifications.
A high-quality service instrument (Stradivarius) can be provided.
You can expect an outstanding and highly motivated orchestra at the largest three-part theatre in Europe with exemplary social standards for our employees.
In addition to numerous benefits offered by our social department and a childcare centre, this also includes special workshops for the musicians of the State Orchestra.
