The Joseph Joachim Akademie e. V. has set itself the task of enabling aspiring professional musicians to gain professional experience in their desired field of activity and thus make a valuable contribution to quality assurance within the German orchestral landscape. Through the Joseph Joachim Academy, the young instrumentalists receive financial support (€850.00 per month) for two years, individual lessons with members of the orchestra, they can take part in career-related workshops (e.g. audition training, workshops with internationally renowned soloists from the NDR Radiophilharmonie and yoga for musicians) and have the opportunity to take part in rehearsals, concerts and recordings of the NDR Radiophilharmonie.
