At its meeting on 7 November 2023, the Board of Trustees of the Augsburg State Theatre decided to strive for the transformation of the traditional orchestra into an A orchestra by the end of the 2028/2029 season and thus to sustainably strengthen the qualitative development of the Augsburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
