The Oslo Philharmonic and chief conductor Klaus Mäkelä invite highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of tutti 1st violin.
We are looking for a dedicated orchestral musician who would like to invest in the Oslo Philharmonic and thereby make a significant contribution to the rich cultural life of the city of Oslo.
Candidates are invited to apply with a CV, letter of interest and a recent video recording.
The contents of the video recording are specified in the "Video Requirements" section. The deadline for applications is Sunday 25th August 2024.
Qualified candidates will be invited to audition in Oslo, with invitations to be sent by Wednesday 18th September 2024.
Orchestral excerpts will be sent to all invited candidates on this date.
The audition will take place on Wednesday 16th October 2024, at the Oslo Concert Hall.
