Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be able to participate in the procedure:
Be a native of the Canary Islands or a resident of the Canary Islands
Be born between 1st January 1996 and 1st December 2006.
Be a student of musical education or have completed their studies within the last four years.
Not be a member of any professional symphonic ensemble.
Not have previously belonged to the Youth Orchestra of the Canary Islands.

Applicants must provide the following information:
Completed application form, which will be sent automatically when completing the web form.
Photocopy of identification document (DNI, NIE) on both sides.
Certificate of residence in a Canary Island municipality, for residents of the Canary Islands.
Birth certificate, for Canary Islanders who no longer reside in the Canary Islands.
Academic and artistic curriculum vitae, indicating the musical studies that have been taken or are being taken.
A video recording, playing solo or with accompaniment a movement from a concerto (without cadenza) from the specific repertoire of their instrument and at least three orchestral fragments to be chosen from Annex I attached to this call for applications.

Regarding the video: the applicant must add in the application form a link to the recording which must be hosted on YouTube, as a public or private video, and each work performed must be uncut and with a fixed camera.
The same link must contain both the compulsory work and the added excerpts.
In the case of the compulsory work, it may be recorded with or without piano accompaniment, at free choice.

All documentation, with the exception of the recording, must be submitted in PDF format and in Spanish.

Los aspirantes deberán cumplir con los siguientes requisitos para poder participar en el procedimiento:
Ser natural de Canarias o residente canario
Haber nacido entre el 1 de enero de 1996 y el 1de diciembre de 2006
Ser estudiante de enseñanzas musicales o haber finalizado los estudios en los últimos cuatro años.
No ser miembro de ningún conjunto sinfónico profesional.
No haber pertenecido anteriormente a la Joven Orquesta de Canarias.

Los aspirantes deberán aportar la siguiente información:
Solicitud rellenada que se enviará de forma automática al completar el formulario web.
Fotocopia de documento identificativo (DNI, NIE) por ambas caras.
Certificado de residencia en algún municipio canario, para los residentes en canarias.
Certificado de nacimiento, para los naturales de Canarias que ya no residan en Canarias.
Currículum académico y artístico, indicando los estudios musicales que se han cursado o se encuentra cursando.
Una grabación en vídeo, interpretando solo o con acompañamiento un movimiento de un concierto (sin cadencia) del repertorio específico de su instrumento y al menos tres fragmentos orquestales a elegir del Anexo I que se adjunta a la presente convocatoria.

Respecto del video: el solicitante deberá añadir en el formulario de solicitud un enlace de la grabación que deberá estar alojado en YouTube, como video público o privado, y cada obra interpretada deberá ser sin cortes y con cámara fija.
En el mismo enlace deben estar tanto la obra obligatoria como los fragmentos añadidos.
En el caso de la obra obligatoria, podrá ser grabada con o sin acompañamiento de piano, a libre elección.

Toda la documentación, a excepción de la grabación, debe ser presentada en formato PDF y en idioma castellano.‍
