The Staatskapelle Halle, which emerged from the merger of the Philharmonic State Orchestra and the Halle Opera House Orchestra, is the largest orchestra in Saxony-Anhalt with 115 permanent positions.
It offers a wide-ranging repertoire in concert, music theatre and ballet.
Unique in the German music scene is the associated Handel Festival Orchestra, which performs on historical instruments.
The position is to be filled from 01.01.2025 or by arrangement.

We welcome applications regardless of personal characteristics such as origin, gender or age.

Only justified claims in accordance with the collective agreement for musicians in concert and theatre orchestras (TVK) are eligible for reimbursement.

When you register, please let us know whether you would like to bring a personal pianist or play together with our accompanist. Please also let us know which pieces you will be playing in the 1st and 2nd rounds.
