The Norwegian National Opera Orchestra (Operaorkestret) is seeking two highly qualified and motivated double bass players for the postitions of Tutti Double Bass.
Our 99 member orchestra plays operas, ballets, concerts and has it's own chamber music series.
The audition will take place at the Opera in Oslo on October 7, 2024.
Invitations to selected candidates will be sent out at the latest Friday September 6.
A trial period may be offered as part of the audition process and interviews might be conducted as part of the hiring process.
Commencement date: by agreement.

Salary by union agreement (DNO&B-CREO)
235 services per season
5 weeks paid vacation per year (except 1st year)

Dittersdorf: Concerto in D/E major, 1st mvt with cadenza and 2nd mvt without cadenza
Vanhal: Concerto in C/D major, 1st mvt with cadenza and 2nd movt without cadenza
2: One of the following:
Koussevitzky: Concerto in e/f sharp minor, 1st mvt
Bottesini: Concerto in a/b minor, 1st mvt without cadenza
