The Varna State Opera is looking to fulfill vacancies in the symphony orchestra. The audition is to be held on 01 February 2025 at 10:00 (GMT+3) at the Varna State Opera (pl. "Nezavisimost" 1, 9000 Varna, Bulgaria). The position start-date is to be negotiated following successful audition but there is possibility to start immediately. The Varna State Opera orchestra will also consider candidates who are in the early stages of their career and can clearly demonstrate their potential to fulfil the role. The result of the audition, the curriculum vitae and experience will be taken into consideration in determining the monthly remuneration.

The opera house has the function of covering a diverse repertoire: opera, operetta, musical and symphonic music. Varna is a city on the Black Sea coast with a population of about half a million. Audition repertoire: • Bach-slow and fast movements from partitas and sonatas for solo violin • Mozart -Concerto for violin No: 3,4 or 5 -First part with cadenza • First movement of a romantic concerto or piece of free choice and the both solos from Swan Lake.
