Mityo Dimitrov was born on the 13th November 1974 in the town of Kazanlak, Bulgaria. He studied the art of making musical instruments at Kremona instrument factory. Afterwards he worked in this sphere and improved his skills working with masters of the handicraft.
He has been designing and building his own musical instruments since 1998, mainly focusing on violins and violas. He works with wood materials having excellent sound qualities found in the Balkan region. Above all, he prefers working with naturally dried maple and spruce of the highest quality.
