Paul Gerrish
Paul Gerrish trained as a professional violinist at the Royal Manchester College of Music and earned his living in this capacity for several years, before becoming an expert instrument restorer and craftsman.
An injury to his hand finished his original choice of career. As he came from a family of skilled craftsmen, he retrained in London as an instrument restorer with two ex - W.E. Hill & Son craftsmen and continued in partnership with one of them for eleven years.
He has worked for the London trade for many years, and his business takes him regularly to Australia, the U.S.A. and Japan.
