II. GRUNEWALD INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION 2024 - December 2nd – 22nd, 2024, Berlin, Germany

The first registration deadline is October 31, 2024.
The last registration deadline is November 15, 2024.
The second international music competition "II. Grunewald International Music Competition" in the former Mendelssohn family palace in the middle of Berlin's Grunewald, idyllically located in a large park, will take place on December 2nd – 21st, 2024.
Open for four string instrument groups - violin, viola, cello & contrabass, divided into two to three age groups, and judged by internationally known and famous musicians.
The competition is aimed at young talented musicians from all over the world, and will welcome them to Berlin, Germany.
The goals of the competition are to support highly talented young musicians up to the age of 35 on their career path, to enable exchange between young musicians, to establish contact with recognized soloists and professors, to expand musical experiences and to contribute to international understanding.
The competition also supports young up-and-coming artists through cash prizes, non-cash prizes and vouchers.
Particular emphasis is placed on arranging concert engagements in order to provide the young artists with the best possible support as they start their careers, including a performance with the Geringas Chamber Orchestra in Berlin.
Media partners such as RBB will create an optimal platform for participants through intensive reporting and offer access to a broad public.
