The Bamberg Symphony Orchestra Academy is a training programme that extends over a period of one to two years. The scholarship includes individual instrumental lessons with members of the orchestra, participation in intensive rehearsals and the orchestra's public concerts, the preparation of chamber music works and general mentoring by members of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. Audition training, workshops and, if possible, participation in international concert tours round off the programme. The scholarship is endowed with € 950 per month. The requirements for participation in the Orchestra Academy are - Maximum age: 26 years (at the time of the audition) - Studying at a music academy - Passed audition - Passing the audition period (4 months)
