For this position, we are looking for an outstanding musician who is able to take on the role of solo cello (m/f/d) in one of the most traditional and renowned opera and ballet orchestras in Germany. In addition to artistic qualifications, including experience with contemporary music and historically-informed performance practice, we expect a willingness to take on responsibility for the cello section. This includes in particular the organisation of group meetings and regular staff appraisals in consultation with the other solo cello (m/f/d) and the orchestra management. We expect a high level of identification with our orchestra and the Württemberg State Theatres Stuttgart. This also includes a presence beyond the contractually agreed orchestral duties. We offer a special contract with a reduced workload, taking into account your professional experience and qualifications. A high-quality service instrument can be provided.
