The Stadttheater Klagenfurt OG is the established state theatre for Carinthia.
Aron Stiehl is the artistic director of the multi-genre theatre, Matthias Walter is the managing director, and Nicholas Milton is the principal conductor.
The following position is to be filled in the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra: A viola tutti
(from 17 February 2025)
Compulsory pieces:
C. Stamitz, Concerto in D major or
F.A. Hoffmeister, Concerto in D major (first movement with cadenza and second movement)
Optional pieces:
B. Bartók or W. Walton Viola Concerto or P. Hindemith ‘Der Schwanendreher’ (each 1st movement)
Orchestral excerpts:
Will be announced with the invitation to the audition
Remuneration:
The annual gross salary under the collective agreement is €44,669.76 (plus creditable previous periods of employment).
Audition date:
Pre-audition 09 January 2025 – 13:00
Main audition 10 January 2025 – 09:00 (if pre-audition is successfully passed)
The application deadline is 22 November 2024.
