Profile:
The selected person will join the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic as first concertmaster.
She or he is expected to be a top violinist with an exemplary role and inspiring leadership qualities, on and off the stage.
Auditions:
The auditions will take place on September 9th, 2024, at the headquarters of the National Forum of Music at pl. Wolności 1, in Wrocław, Poland, in the Main Hall.
The auditions will be preceded by a pre-selection based on video recordings.
The recordings should be submitted along with the application via the muvac.com platform. The video must be submitted by July 30th, 2024.
Candidates will be informed of the pre-selection results by August 9th, 2024.
In the last stage of the audition, selected candidates will be invited for trial weeks with NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic.
Details of these will be arranged with the selected musicians after the results of auditions.

The candidates selected in the pre-selection will be invited to auditions.
Details of the schedule of the first stage of the audition, including the start time of the exam, will be provided after the closing of the application list.
The National Forum of Music does not offer reimbursement of travel or accommodation costs related to participation in auditions.
The organizer of the auditions provides an accompanist, but without the possibility of conducting an earlier rehearsal.
You are not allowed to play with your own accompanist.
The first stage may be divided into two parts, depending on the number of candidates.
The decision will be made by the Commission after the list of candidates has been closed and will inform about it in a detailed e-mail to each invited participant.
The the first/second stage of the audition in whole or in part, may be conducted behind a curtain, while maintaining the anonymity of the candidates.
After closing the list of candidates, the Commission will inform about it in a detailed e-mail to each invited participant.
It is forbidden to tune the instrument on stage.
Employment conditions:
The exact size of contract and the date of commencement of employment for the mentioned position will be decided by mutual agreement.
The salary is market-based; the other terms of employment are in accordance with Polish national regulations.

3rd stage
In the last stage of the auditions, candidates selected in the previous stages will be invited to take part in selected rehearsals and concerts of the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic.
Before the final results and after the first and second stages of the auditions, the NFM reserves the right to invite selected candidates to participate in selected artistic projects with the orchestra (rehearsals and a concert). |
