A 15 anni decide di iscriversi alla Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria di Cremona, dove frequenta i corsi dei Maestri Vincenzo Bissolotti, Massimo Negroni e Stefano Conia.

Si diploma nel 1989 a pieni voti, comincia a migliorarsi frequentando il laboratorio del maestro Vincenzo Bissolotti e del padre, il maestro Francesco Bissolotti.
Per 3 anni lavora da un restauratore di mobili come intagliatore ed ebanista, acquistando una grande conoscenza nella varietà dei legni e abilità manuale.
Nel 1997 lavora per un anno in Germania a Saarbrücken nel laboratorio del maestro Liutaio T. Tebbi.
Frequenta il laboratorio, migliorandosi ulteriormente, dell'amico maestro Stefano Gironi.
Nel 2006 apre la propria attività in Piazza San Michele a Cremona.
Costruisce violini, viole e violoncelli, ispirandosi alla grande tradizione della liuteria classica cremonese.
La sua vernice è trasparente, brillante; il maestro Orippi presta inoltre particolare attenzione alla stagionatura dei materiali, accuratamente scelti.
Egli nutre grande l'interesse per la liuteria dei primi anni del'900, in particolare per i maestri Giuseppe Ornati, Ferdinando Garimberti e Giuseppe Fiorini, da cui trae ispirazione.
Nel 2006 partecipa con un violoncello all' XI Concorso Triennale Internazionale degli Strumenti ad Arco di Cremona e al IV Concorso Nazionale di Liuteria di Baveno,classificandosi con una viola al quarto posto.
Lavora per alcuni anni a Cremona nella bottega di Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 46, che ha condiviso con il maestro Alessandro Gambarin presso il teatro A. Ponchielli.
Apre, nel 2012, sue laboratorio nel centro storico di Cremona. -

In 2006 opens its activities in Piazza San Michele in Cremona.
He builds violins, violas and cellos, inspired by Cremona's great tradition of Violin Making.
