The Stadttheater Klagenfurt OG is the established state theatre for Carinthia. The artistic director for the multi-genre theatre is Aron Stiehl, the managing director is Mag. Matthias Walter, and the principal conductor is Nicholas Milton.
The following position is to be filled in the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra: One viola tutti
(from 17 February 2025)
Compulsory pieces:
C. Stamitz, Concerto in D major or
F.A. Hoffmeister, Concerto in D major (1st movement with cadenza and 2nd movement)
Optional pieces:
B. Bartók or W. Walton Viola Concerto or P. Hindemith ‘Der Schwanendreher’ (1st movement of each)
Orchestral excerpts:
will be announced with the invitation to the audition.
Remuneration:
The annual gross salary under the collective agreement is €44,669.76 (plus creditable previous periods of service).
Audition date:
Pre-audition 09 January 2025 – 1:00 pm
main audition on 10 January 2025 at 9:00 a.m. (if the preliminary audition is successfully passed)
