The Fondazione Arturo Toscanini is announcing an international competition to fill, for an indefinite period of time, the following positions in the personnel of its Orchestras: SECOND VIOLONCELLO WITH OBLIGATION FOR THE ROW - n. 1 position
Requirements for admission to the competition
Age not less than 18 years;
Italian citizenship or citizenship of a European Union country. Non-EU citizens regularly residing in Italy are also admitted to the competition;
Enjoyment of civil and political rights;
Second level degree or Old Order Diploma related to the instrument for which the competition is called, obtained at a Conservatory or Music Institute or equivalent certification for qualifications obtained abroad;
Physical fitness for the job;
Not to have been convicted of any criminal offence for which dismissal from employment with the Public Administration is envisaged, or to have been disqualified from previous employment for having obtained the appointment by means of false documents or documents with non-recoverable invalidity.
The prescribed requisites must be possessed by the deadline for submitting the application for admission.
The examination tests are scheduled to be held, unless changes are foreseeable at the moment, at the premises of the Fondazione Arturo Toscanini on 25 and 26 November 2024; invitations will be sent exclusively electronically to the address indicated by the candidate in the application form.
Candidates must present themselves with a valid identity document and the complete material for the examination programme.
The Foundation will provide the candidates with an accompanying pianist. Competitors may, however, use their own accompanying pianist at their own expense.
The competition will consist of the following stages
- PRELIMINARY ROUND
- SECOND ROUND
- FINAL ROUND
The commission reserves the right to admit competitors whose artistic merits are considered to be of particular merit directly to the second rehearsal or to the final.
Absence from the rehearsals shall in all cases be considered as withdrawal from the competition.
The preliminary round and the second round shall be held in such a way as to guarantee the anonymity of the candidates.
The jury may decide to divide the individual stages of the competition into several hearings.
The selection board and candidates will be asked to avoid any contact or communication with the outside world by deactivating and/or handing over any devices (smartphones, tablets, telephones, PCs, etc.) to the appropriate officials. Any candidate who contravenes these instructions will be excluded from the competition.
Participants in the competition are not entitled to any allowance, compensation or reimbursement for travel and subsistence expenses.
Failure to fulfil even one of the requirements of the competition notice or failure to produce the required documents will result in exclusion from the competition or cancellation of the tests taken.
Examinations taken by candidates whose declarations prove to be untrue or inaccurate will be considered null and void.

Participants in the competition are not entitled to any allowance or compensation for travel and accommodation expenses.

La Fondazione Arturo Toscanini bandisce un concorso internazionale per la copertura, a tempo indeterminato, dei seguenti posti nell’organico delle proprie Orchestre: SECONDO VIOLONCELLO CON OBBLIGO DELLA FILA - n. 1 posto
Requisiti per l’ammissione al concorso
Età non inferiore ai 18 anni;
Cittadinanza italiana o di un Paese dell’Unione Europea. Sono ammessi al concorso anche i cittadini non appartenenti all’Unione Europea regolarmente soggiornanti in Italia;
Godimento dei diritti civili e politici;
Laurea di II livello o Diploma di Vecchio Ordinamento relativo allo strumento per cui è indetto il concorso conseguito presso un Conservatorio o Istituto musicale pareggiato o certificazione equipollente per titoli conseguiti all’estero;
Idoneità fisica alla mansione;
Non essere incorso in condanne penali per le quali è prevista la destituzione da impieghi presso la Pubblica Amministrazione nonché essere decaduto da precedente impiego per aver conseguito la nomina mediante documenti falsi o viziati da invalidità non sanabile.
I requisiti prescritti devono essere posseduti alla data di scadenza per l’inoltro della domanda di ammissione.
Le prove d’esame sono previste, salvo variazioni al momento non prevedibili, presso la sede della Fondazione Arturo Toscanini nei giorni 25 e 26 novembre 2024; la convocazione avverrà esclusivamente in via telematica al recapito indicato dal candidato nella domanda di ammissione.
I concorrenti dovranno presentarsi muniti di idoneo documento d’identità in corso di validità e del materiale completo relativo al programma di esame.
La Fondazione metterà a disposizione dei candidati un pianista accompagnatore. Il concorrente, tuttavia, potrà avvalersi a sue spese di un proprio pianista accompagnatore.
Il concorso si articolerà secondo le seguenti fasi:
• PROVA ELIMINATORIA
• SECONDA PROVA
• PROVA FINALE
La commissione si riserva di ammettere direttamente in seconda prova o in finale i concorrenti i cui meriti artistici siano considerati di particolare pregio.
L’assenza alle prove sarà considerata in ogni caso come rinuncia al concorso.
La prova eliminatoria e la seconda prova si svolgeranno in modo tale da garantire l’anonimato dei candidati.
La Commissione giudicatrice potrà decidere di articolare le singole fasi del concorso in più ascolti.
Alla Commissione giudicatrice e ai candidati verrà chiesto di evitare qualsiasi contatto o comunicazione con l’esterno disattivando e/o consegnando eventualmente i dispositivi (smartphone, tablet, telefoni, pc o altro) agli addetti preposti. Nel caso in cui un candidato contravvenga alle disposizioni ricevute sarà escluso dal concorso.
Ai partecipanti al concorso non spetta alcuna indennità, compenso o rimborso per le spese di viaggio e di soggiorno.
La mancanza anche di uno solo dei requisiti richiesti dal bando o la mancata produzione dei documenti richiesti, comporteranno l’esclusione dal concorso ovvero l’annullamento delle prove sostenute.
Saranno considerati nulli gli esami sostenuti dai concorrenti le cui dichiarazioni dovessero risultare non corrispondenti al vero o inesatte.
