Luca Tenore: Durante il periodo dei suoi studi universitari, si appassiona allo studio del violoncello e, qualche tempo dopo, si avvicina alla disciplina della liuteria come autodidatta, frequentando le botteghe di alcuni liutai della sua città, Bari. In questo periodo costuisce alcuni violini. Ha frequentato la scuola di Luca Primon, la Civica Scuola di Liuteria di Milano, dove si diploma brillantemente nell’anno 2005 sotto la guida del M° Paola Vecchio. Il suo lavoro consiste principalmente nella costruzione di strumenti del quartetto: violini, viole, violoncelli moderni e barocchi. Usa legno sempre ben stagionato e della migliore qualità, con ottime caratteristiche di risonanza. La maggior parte della sua produzione viene richiesta da paesi esteri quali: Giappone Taiwan Cina Usa.

Luca Tenore: During the nineties, during the period of his universitary studies, he begins to practise the study of cello, and to be interested in violinmaking; initially as selftaught, relying upon the advices of some makers of Bari, the place where he lives in south Italy. There he makes some violins. He decides to attend in Milan the “Civica Scuola di Liuteria”, an important violinmaking school headed by Master Luca Primon. There, under the guidance of Master Paola Vecchio, after a four years course of study, he brilliantly obtains his degree, in 2005.

His work is mainly concerned in costruction of new instruments: violins, violas and cellos, modern and baroque. Moreover he is always committed on the care of sound and towards the expression of a rich, fine, well balanced tonal quality of his own instruments and to achieve this he always uses top quality wood, with optimal resonance carachteristics.
