Learned lutherie in the stringed instrument making class of the M.Karłowicz Secondary School of Music in Poznan (1983-1987), and in 1992 completed his studies in the lutherie class of Prof.
Wlodzimierz Kaminski at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan.
For his master's degree in lutherie he presented two violins and the written work The Life and Work of Bartolomeo Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesu.
In 1992 he trained for several months in the workshop of W. & H. Bünnagel in Cologne.
To date, he has almost 60 violins, 5 violas, a cittern, a guitar and 2 violin bows.
He has taken part in two editions of the Polish National Luthier's Competition (1987, 1999), in the second of which he was a finalist in the ľ violin category.
He has also successfully competed in the H.Wieniawski International Luthier's Competition in Poznan: 1992- eighth place, medal awarded by the juror A.Capela, and prize of the Association of German Luthiers for the youngest Polish finalist; 2001-Second Prize.
He was awarded the gold medal for highest tonal qualities in a violin in the Second V. Metelka International Luthiers Competition in Náchod, in 2004.
A member of the ZPAL since 1988, and since 2002 a member of the Executive Board.
