Non essendo una bambina prodigio, non propinerò la solita storiellina della figlia nata e cresciuta in laboratorio...
Anzi...! Il laboratorio era un luogo in cui ci si poteva anche far male con le sgorbie, gli scalpelli e i coltelli, e poi, vogliamo dirla tutta?
Il pomeriggio, al ritorno del tempo pieno scolastico c'era Heidi in Tv, chi aveva voglia di andare in laboratorio a veder nascere un violino...?
Ah "figlia spensierata", in laboratorio ci metterò piede definitivamente nel 1989 alla fine degli studi linguistici e credendo di diventare "solo" la segretaria di papà.
A poco a poco le mie mansioni vengono cambiate in modo subdolamente dolce. Un giorno un disegno, un giorno un'incollatura, un giorno una riparazione, etc.Ecco che il mio percorso lavorativo comincia all'incontrario di molti altri: prima dagli archi, dal loro restauro alla loro costruzione, poi gli strumenti dal restauro all'acustica,

dalla messa a punto alla costruzione vera e propria.
Essendo "figlia di..." non ho mai partecipato per ovvi motivi ad un concorso e non sono mai entrata a far parte di alcuna associazione liutaria.
Frequento poco gli ambienti per scelta e, sono sicura e convinta che miglior Maestro del mio non si possa avere sotto tutti i punti di vista, chi lo conosce non può darmi torto!
Ci tengo a sottolineare di essere l'unica allieva. Certo in tanti frequentano o hanno frequentato il laboratorio, ma da qui ad essere allievi, ce ne passa...
Orgogliosa della discendenza lavorativa, mi occupo sia del restauro che della costruzione di nuovi strumenti.
Il "garzone di bottega" quale mi definivo i primi tempi, è cresciuto forte del motto di Walt Disney: "Se puoi sognarlo, puoi farlo!" e del sostegno di suo marito nonchè di tutta la mia famiglia. Dal 2007 sono titolare del nostro Atelier in società con mio padre. -
Being not a child prodigy , I will not dish up the nice story about the daughter who was born and grew up in my father's lab. Not at all! The workshop was a place where you can hurt yourselves with gouges, chisels and knives and then, what are we talking about…? In the afternoon coming back from the full time school Heidi cartoons was on TV, who wanted to go in the lab to see the birth of a violin….? Ah, "degenerate daughter", in the laboratory I will finally set foot in 1989 at the end of the language studies and thinking to become "just" Dad's secretary. Gradually my duties are changed so subtly sweet. One day a drawing, gluing the other one, another one a repair, etc. My working steps start backwards in comparison to many others colleagues : at first the bows, their restoration and their construction, then the instruments, their restoration, their acoustic, their setting up and finally the real construction. Being a "daughter of.." I've never attended a violin making competition because of obvious reasons and also I've never joined any violin makers association. It's my choice to don't be involved so much in this environment and I'm sure and convinced that better Master than mine one cannot have under any point of view, those who knows him cannot deny it! I want to emphasize that I'm the one and only pupil. Of course, during the years many persons have attended the lab to ask for advices but being a pupil it's another thing. Proud of my working descendance I deal with both restoration and construction of new instruments. The "apprentice" which I define myself in the first times, has grown stronger of the Walt Disney's motto : "If you can dream it, you can do it" and of the support of her husband and the whole family. Since 2007 I'm the holder of the shop in partnership with my father.

Ich bin kein Wunderkind und ich habe auch nicht die übliche Geschichte zu erzählen, die als Geigenbauerin geboren wurde.
Aber Aufgewachsen bin ich direkt neben der Werkstatt meines Vaters, dies war ein Ort, wo wir Kinder uns mit Hohleisen , Meißel und Messer verletzen konnten.
Am Nachmittag, nach der Vollzeitschule waren die Heidi Comics im Fernsehen und ich habe mich nicht darum gekümmert das in der Werkstatt neben an. eine Geige "geboren" wurde. Ah "entartete Tochter "!!!Mit dem Vorhaben als meines Vaters "Sekretärin" in die Werkstatt einzutreten, habe ich 1989 meine Spachstudien abgeschlossen. Mein Vater war listig genug um mich nach und nach an den Geigenbau heran zu führen, zuerst mit Zeichnungen und kleinen Handreichungen bis ich Klebearbeiten und Restaurierungen selbständig ausführen konnte.
Der Beginn meiner Ausbildung war entgegengesetzt vieler anderen. Zuerst lernte ich die Bögen und über deren Resturierung und der Wiederinstandsetzung kennen. Bei den Instrumenten war es ebenso, zuerst über deren Restaurierung, der Verbesserung der Akustik und erst dann über den Neubau.
Als " Tochter von ... " habe ich, aus offensichtlichen Gründen noch nie in einem Wettbewerb teilgenommen und ich war bisher noch kein Mitglied einer Organisation .
Aus freien Willen bin ich kein Mitglied der aktiven Geigenbauer Welt. Unter allen gesichtspunkten, bin ich mir sicher und davon überzeugt dass es keinen besseren Meister als den meinen gib. Wer ihn kennt, der muß mir Recht geben. Ich möchte betonen, dass ich der einzige Geselle bin, der je von Ihm ausgebildet wurde.
Natürlich waren viele Geigenbauer oder solche die es werden wollen hier zu Besuch, aber von an der Tür klopfen zur Bezeichnung Lehrgeselle ist es ein weiter Weg.
Ich bin stolz auf den Stammbaum der Geigenbauerelite der ich nun angehöre und ich beschäftige mich mit der Restaurierung und dem Neubau von Instrumenten.Der " Lehrling ", der ich einst war, definierte sich nach dem Motto von Walt Disney: "Wenn du es träumst kannst, du kannst es schaffen! "
