Antoine Nedelec
1975, France
I was born in France in 1975. I started playing the violin at a young age and my love for the instrument inspired me to enroll in the Violin Making School of America. During my student years, I was given the opportunity to work in the repair and restoration department of Peter Prier & Sons Violins. After graduating in 2002, I accepted a position in the restoration department of J&A Beare Dallas. I had the privilege to study violins by Stradivari, Guarneri and many other great makers. Today, I concentrate on making instruments. I am a member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers and participate regularly in the Oberlin violin making workshop.
