Nasce a Saint Etienne in Francia nel luglio del 1979, ma cresce e frequenta la scuola dell'obbligo a Lugano in Svizzera. Nel 1997 si trasferisce a Cremona dove studia presso il famoso istituto IPIALL che forma i migliori liutai del mondo sotto l'attenta guida dei Maestri Ezio Scarpini e Massimo Negroni. Si diploma con successo nel 2002.

Inizia il suo tirocinio formandosi presso la bottega del Maestro Stefano Trabucchi, dove il giovane Alessandro Gambarin inizia a raffinare le proprie abilità e a riconoscersi nelle sue creazioni, impostando quindi le proprie tecniche di costruzione.
Matura le sue abilità e decide di staccarsi dalla bottega e dai modelli preimpostati, arrivando nella fase di lavoro autonomo nella propria bottega in Piazza S. Michele.
Qui ha l'opportunità di raggiungere alti livelli di professionalità, grazie anche alla profonda passione che lo lega alla sua attività di artista e di liutaio professionista.
Produce strumenti, soprattutto violini, notevoli per l'accurata scelta dei legni e per la splendida vernice ad alcool ad alta trasparenza e con un buon indice di rifrazione che distinguono il suo lavoro elegante e metodico. La qualità dei suoi strumenti lo porta nella fase definita di grande ispirazione ai modelli classici dei geniali precursori cremonesi Amati, Guarneri e non ultimo Stradivari. Sviluppa e raffina le sue conoscenze stilistiche e le sue grandi abilità tecniche anche grazie alla collaborazione del Maestro Simeone Morassi.
Attualmente il maestro Alessandro Gambarin lavora a Cremona nella sua bottega di Corso Vittorio Emanuele II che condivide con il Maestro Patrizio Orippi situata nei pressi del famoso teatro A.Ponchielli. -
The Master Alessandro Gambarin was born in Saint Etienne in France in July 1979, but it grows and attended the school of obligation to Lugano in Switzerland. Begins his trainership stating in the shop of the master Stefano Trabucchi, where the young Alessandro Gambarin begins to refine his skills, and to identify in his creations, setting therefore its techniques of construction.
Ages its skills and decides to become detached from the shop and by the models preset,
and, in 2006, opens its own workshop in Piazza S. Michele in Cremona.
Here has the opportunity of further refine his technique, thanks also to deep passion that links him to the activities of musician and of luthier professional.
Produces instruments, especially violins, considerable for the accurate choice of wood and for the splendid paint alcohol high transparency and with a good index of refraction that distinguish HIS WORK as elegant and methodical.
The quality of its instruments take him in the phase defined of great inspiration to classic models of genial precursors from Cremona as Amati, Guarneri and not last Stradivari. Developes and refine its knowledge stylistic and its technical skills also thanks to the collaboration of the master Simeon morassi.
Currently the master Alessandro gambarin works in Cremona in his workshop in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, with the master Patrizio Orippi.
