  • Dopo aver studiato violino per parecchi anni, si è iscritto alla Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria di Cremona.
    Allievo dei Maestri Negroni e Scarpini, ha ottenuto una borsa di studio dalla Fondazione Walter Stauffer. 
    Si è diplomato nel 1986 e si è perfezionato sotto la guida del M. Conia nel suo laboratorio. 
    Ha, quindi, seguito un corso biennale di restauro per strumenti ad arco indetto dalla Regione Lombardia, diplomandosi nel 1987.
    Nel 1990 ha partecipato al Concorso di Bagnacavallo, conseguendo il secondo premio con un violoncello. 
    Nel 1991 ha ottenuto il primo premio al Concorso di Baveno con una viola. 
    Nel 1992 al Concorso di Bagnacavallo ha ottenuto una medaglia d'oro con un violino.
    Nel 1996 si è classificato secondo al Concorso "Un violino per un musicista" organizzato dal Consorzio Liutai Cremona. 
    Nel 1997 ha ottenuto un premio speciale al Concorso di Baveno con un violino. 
    Nel 2000 ha vinto il premio speciale per la costruzione con un violino alla Violin Society of America di Fort Mitchell, USA. 
    Nel 2001 ha vinto il primo premio (medaglia d'oro) nella sezione violoncello all'VIII Concorso Internazionale di Liuteria di Baveno; 
    con lo stesso strumento ha vinto anche il "Premio Baveno", assegnato allo strumento che consegue il punteggio più alto fra tutte le categorie partecipanti. 
    E' arrivato finalista con un violoncello al "Concorso Internazionale di Liuteria Etienne Vatelot" nel 2004.
    E' arrivato 10° al Concorso di Liuteria di Mittenwald (D) con una Viola.

    Ha, inoltre, frequentato un corso di restauro degli strumenti ad arco curato dal Consorzio Liutai "Antonio Stradivari".


    È membro fondatore del Consorzio Liutai Cremona.

  • After having studied violin for several years, he enrolled at the International Violinmaking School of Cremona. 
    He was Masters Negroni and Scarpini's student and he got a scholarship from the Walter Stauffer Foundation. 
    He obtained his diploma in 1986 and he improved himself under the guidance of Master Conia in his workshop. 
    He attended a two year stringed instruments restoration class organized by the Lumbardy Region, graduating in 1987.
    In 1990 he has taken part the Bagnacavallo Competition, receiving the second prize with a cello. 
    In 1991, at the Baveno Competition, he received the first prize with a viola. 
    In 1992, at the Bagnacavallo Competition, he received a gold medal with a violin. 
    In 1996, he was second at the Competition "A violin for a musician", organized by the Consortium of Violin & Bowmakers Cremona. 
    In 1997, at the Baveno Competition, he received a special prize with a violin. 
    In 2000 he got the Special Prize, with a violin, for Violinworkmanship of the Violin Society of America, Fort Mitchell, USA. 
    In 2001 he received the first prize (gold medal) at the VIII Violinmaking International Competition of Baveno with a cello; 
    with the same instrument he also got the special "Baveno Prize". 
    In the 2004 he took partin "International Concourse of Violin Making Etienne Vatelot" and he came finalist for a violoncello.
    In 2005 at international Mittenwald competition He obtain 10th place with a viola.

    He has also attended a stringed struments restoration course organized by the Consortium of Violin & Bow Makers "Antonio Stradivari".

    He is a founder member of the Consortium of Violin & Bow Makers Cremona.

  • Après avoir étudié le violon pendant plusieurs années, je me suis inscrit à l’Ecole Internationale de Lutherie de Crémone.
    Fréquentant les cours des Maîtres Luthiers Negroni et Scarpini, j’ai bénéficié d’une bourse d’études de la Fondation Walter Stauffer 
    et obtenu mon diplôme en 1986. 
    Ensuite j’ai continué ma formation avec le Maître Conia dans son laboratoire. 
    Pendant 2 ans, j’ai suivi un cours de restauration des instruments à cordes, (à archet) organisé par la Région Lombardie, 
    obtenant le diplôme en 1987.
    Participation aux concours de lutherie:
    1990 Concours de Bagnacavallo deuxième prix pour un violoncelle
    1991 Concours de Baveno premier prix pour un alto
    1992 Concours de Bagnacavallo médaille d’or pour un violon
    1996 Concours « Un violino per un musicista » organisé par le Consortium Luthiers de Crémone classé deuxième
    1997 Concours de Baveno prix spécial pour un violon 2000 Concours de laViolin Society of America de Fort Mitchell USA prix spécial pour un violon
    2001 VIIIe Concours International de Lutherie de Baveno (section violoncelle) médaille d’or pour un violoncelle et
    « Premio Baveno » pour ce même instrument qui a obtenu la notation la plus élevée parmi tous les participants
    2004 Concours International de Lutherie Etienne Vatelot à Paris 6ème place avec un violoncelle
    2005 Concours de lutherie de Mittenwald (D) dixième place avec un alto

    En outre, j’ai aussi fréquenté un cours de restauration des instruments à archet, organisé par le
    Consortium Luthiers « Antonio Stradivari ».

    Je suis membre fondateur du Consortium Luthiers de Crémone (Consorzio Liutai « Antonio Stradivari » Cremona).

  • Nach etlichen Jahren Unterricht im Geigenspiel hat sich Pascal Hornung an der internationalen Geigenbauschule in Cremona
    eingeschrieben. Dort war er Schuler von den Geigenbaumeistern Negroni und Scarpini und erhielt ein Stipendium der Walter
    Stauffer Stiftung. 1986 hat er seine Ausbildung mit Erfolg beendet und anschließend in der Werkstatt von Geigenbaumeister
    Conia seine Kenntnisse vertieft. Außerdem hat er 1987 einen zweijahrigen Kurs: „Restaurieren von Streichinstrumenten“
    erfolgreich abgeschlossen.

    2000 Geigenbauwettbewerb VSA; Fort Mitchell: Sonderpreis fur exzellente handwerkliche Ausfuhrung in der Kategorie Violine
    2001 Geigenbauwettbewerb Baveno: Goldmedaille und Sonderpreis: „Premio Baveno“(hochste erreichte Punktzahl aller eingereichten
    Instrumente) in der Kategorie Violoncello.

    Hornung Pascal 曾多年学习小提琴，并以优异的成绩考取了Cremona（克雷莫纳）国际提琴制作学校，成为提琴制作大师Negroni和Scarpini的学生，曾获得Walter Stauffer 基金会的奖学金.
