Informationen	Applicants must specify whether they apply for associate principal, for tutti or for both positions. Please note: Principal candidates will not be added to the tutti process - or vice versa - unless they have applied for both positions. In the SSO, associate principal has duty to chairs 1 through 4, but does not rotate to 2nd violin. The tutti violinists rotate between 1st and 2nd violin. When starting in the SSO, there is a mandatory trial period of 6 months. Stavanger Symphony Orchestra doesn’t cover costs of travel, accommodation or other expenses connected to the candidates’ participation in the main audition
Wahlstücke	1st movement and 2nd movement, with cadenza, of Mozart Violin Concerto no. 3, 4 or 5. 1st movement, with cadenza, of a Violin Concerto by Beethoven, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius or Nielsen. Please specify in the application which concertos you will play.
