Peter Seman

Peter grew up on Long Island, New York.
He attended the School for Fine Arts at Buffalo State College. Shortly after Peter joined a bluegrass band in which he played for ten years. Following his love for music, Peter attended the Chicago School of Violin Making and graduated in 1988.
He is currently on the boards of MondoMusica and Calipigian Players while serving as the President of American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers (AFVBM).
Peter’s interests are gardening, biking, and playing music. He is also currently working on copies of some classic Cremonese instruments.
